Slo Poks Uptown Village Show and Shine 2015

Best of Show 2015, Doug Beattie's '34 sedan
The 2015 Uptown Village Show and Shine was a total success.  Our 4th year is the best one yet.  The weather could not have been any better.  We pretty much maxed out the show capacity, probably could have only squeezed in maybe 6 more cars!  The changes this year, with the club on the north end set the show up nicely.  Way to go Finnski!  The parking went very smoothly and was well organized which made for a great display.  Having all the vendors this year was a plus as well.  A huge thanks has to go out to Finn, Pete, Rev, Baker and the whole club for organizing a top notch event.  As far as I could see, all had a good time.  Well, almost everyone.  Don Owen got to get his first stitches and be the first Uptown injury that included a trip to the emergency room.  Don and I are tied for the Slo Poks stitch record at 14!  Thanks to Troy Jackson for putting to use his first aid training and also to Grimm medical transport.
Take some time and peruse the pictures, it was a truly great event for the community and gearheads alike.

Chairman's Pick, '49 Merc.
