Slo Poks visit Hough Elementary

On a sunny Thursday afternoon on the 12th of September, a group of Slo Poks paraded to Hough Elementary to deliver the goodies from the Uptown Show and Shine.  The guys were greeted by the student body who got get a up close and personal experience with an assortment of hot rods.  They not only got to see the hot rods, not only touch them, but they got to sit in them, take pictures and honk horns.  It was a great opportunity to give the kids a fun experience with old school hot rods. . . gotta train up the next generation!
The Poks presented a show proceeds check, an envelope with the $465 cash collected at the show and boxes of school supplies.  The goodies were presented the Hough Foundation and Hough Elementary Faculty and Staff.
It was a fun afternoon for the students, Hough faculty and Slo Poks.  Thanks to the guys that put so many hours in to make this benefit event a reality!
