2016 Uptown Village Show and Shine

Well, the 2016 Uptown Village Show and Shine is now in the record books.  We were hoping to set a car count record, not a high temperature record, but we'll take it.  Rain was NOT a problem this year, with the media was squawking about high heat warnings for days may have kept some away.  Despite the hype, 100 faithful hot rodders came out to have a great time on Main Street last Saturday.  This year was another year of the best rodders and cars in the area with tons of raffle prizes and hand made trophies all for a good cause, support of the Hough Foundation who exists to enrich Hough Elementary School.
Finnski Jr and Pete put in tons of hours to make this show happen, along with dedicated efforts from many others, too many to list, doing all of the tasks that make a show like this happen.  And we can't forget the support we get from the Uptown Village Association.  There were meetings, permits, goodie bag stuffing, raffle prize collecting, school supply gathering and the list goes on and on.  And of course, all of that hard work would be in vain without the generous support of our many trophy sponsors and vendors.  Just take a look at the pictures to see all the people and vendors that put in a full day at the show and hours behind the scenes.
Thanks to all for a successful 2016 show!

Best of show and winner of the Slo Poks signature Brizlawn/Comeau guitar went to Estranged car club member's '32 3W.
