The 2019 Slo Poks Uptown Village Show and Shine to benefit the Hough Foundation was held in uptown Vancouver on August 17th. Mark your calendars for the third Saturday of August so you don't miss out on the 2020 edition of the show. . .it will be our 10th year! The show is designed to raise support the Hough Foundation that works to fill the needs of the under served Hough Elementary School, just a few blocks from Main St. in Vancouver.
We had 162 cars show up on what started out as a cloudy Saturday with some drizzle in Vancouver and reports of rain in other areas. But, despite the weather, 162 people showed up for a great show! Great raffles and homemade Slo Poks trophies made for a fun show. The shops and restaurants on Main Street were open, which made a great day for all.
I looked and looked for when this even would be and could never find any info on it. Bummed I missed it.
